Jazz Society of Fairfield County presents: Brian Q. Torff Trio w/ Brian on bass, Dave Childs on piano, Greg Burrows on drums; at 323 Main Restaurant & Bar in Guilford, CT — 7:30-10:30 PM.

Playing small-group-arranged music from the NEW DUKE band’s upcoming CD, as well as some surprising new material, such as some new versions of great tunes by singer/pianist/composer Mose Allison. Greg joins the FLAGPOLE RADIO CAFE ORCHESTRA–with featured artist: LUCY KAPLANSKI
These shows are FUN. These evenings are a “Prairie Home Companion” type variety show with fine, rootsy music served as the main course. Irreverent comic bits, readings, theatrical improvisation by a fine cast of actors, this is one of the shows I really look forward to.
Tickets (see link below for ticketing details): $20
